Jivan Ward writes evocative and innovative stories through the technologies we all take for granted. He doesn’t shy away from approaching storytelling from new perspectives, and using them to reflect on our culture and society.
At university, he found inspiration in the fiction and narratives no one talked about. He discovered a love for pushing boundaries in his fiction, for representing unheard contemporary societies and communities online, for echoing our technology focused life in his disturbing, and peculiar fiction.
Currently, Jivan lives in South Korea as an English teacher in a Foreign Language High School. He is working on two projects; a contemporary novel, and a short segment in a graphic novel anthology.
